LEDA WHITING

My name is Leda Whiting, I’m 18 years old from New Zealand. I first picked up a tennis racket at a young age, playing just for fun and as a hobby. I enjoyed playing the sport, but I stoped playing as my family moved to Argentina for 3-4 years. While there, I continued other activities such as dance, and took a break from tennis. When I returned to New Zealand at the age of 10, I restarted to play. I started playing more seriously and began to realize how much I truly enjoyed it. At that point, I knew I wanted to take my tennis to the next level, so I focused on improving my technique and started competing more seriously at the age of 13. Since then, tennis has become a major part of my life. I’m constantly pushing myself to improve, and challenge my limits. The journey has been both rewarding and motivating, and I’m excited to see where it takes me as I continue to pursue my passion for the sport in Spain.
