Hello, my name is Kuzey Cekirge, I am 24 years old and I am from Turkey. I started tenis at the age of 6 and I’ve stuck with it ever since. When I turned 10, I won the Turkish Championships and my parents thought why not move to Spain. So I started competing at Tenis Europe tournaments and by the time I was 15 years old, I became top 20 in Europe, which was a great result, and I also was one of the best in Turkey, so I was representing my country in European championships under 14 and also under 16.

When I finished my junior career, I switched a few places to train until I started training with BTA and I really liked everything, from fitness to  mental training, which is a huge part of tenis . They helped me become top 900 this year and hopefully we will keep pushing.
