KENZA SAJID GONZALEZ

My name is Kenza and I come from Switzerland. My dad signed me up for tennis lessons when I was 4 years old and I loved it. Very young I started playing tournaments. With this sport I had the opportunity to meet and play with many Swiss tennis players like Belinda Bencic, Timea Bacsinszky and Martina Hingis.

I didn't stop playing until I was 11 years old. At 11 years old I made the decision to stop this sport because I got very bored and it was no longer possible to do school and sport.

When I was 15, I started tennis again just for fun 1 hour a week and when I was 16 I played 3 hours a week.

I have always loved doing tennis camps in other countries. I wanted to come to this academy. It has always been my dream to combine school and sport because my dream would be to go to an American university.
