Luis Scarda Bio

Luis was born on February 7th, 1980 in Itu, Brazil. As a junior he competed at national tournaments in Brazil and also at the COSAT Circuit in South America. When reached the age of 15, he moved to Atlanta (USA) to train at International Tennis Academy with Dan Cassidy, former top 60 ATP. In the USA he competed at national tournaments and Futures tournaments as well.

He received a scholarship to play for Georgia Perimeter College where he was a two-time National Champion. He then transferred to play for Florida Gulf Coast University, where he graduated with a marketing degree.

Luis has coached many top players at the International Tennis Academy in Atlanta and also in Brazil. He is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
