BTA Coaching Team: Fernando Gouveia

This blog series aims to present our coaching team by showing how they work with players on specific aspects crucial for the game of tennis.

Today we would like to focus on Fernando Gouveia, who is another head coach at our academy in addition to Jordane Doble and Alejandro Cadenas.

We have known Fernando for many years. Before becoming one of our head coaches, he worked with us during our summer camps. It is a great pleasure to have him on our team.

Being a sport science graduate, Fernando is always full of creative ideas based in his educational background. He has an unbelievable passion for the game. Every day after finishing his training sessions with our players, he spends hours on the court playing matches in our club.

In the videos Fernando is working with the 11-year-old Oakley on the balanced positioning for groundstrokes as well as forehand and backhand volleys.
