ITN Tests at our Academy

The whole September we will be performing tests and interviews to gather sufficient information on all our players so that we are fully ready to set proper goals for the new season. One of the main measuring tools that we have decided to use is the ITN (International Tennis Number) assessment.

The test is on-court assessment devised by the ITF, which not only provides an objective way of measuring players’ level and progress but also serves as a type of motivational tool helping players in self-monitoring and goal-setting.

In the first part we performed groundstroke depth assessment, groundstroke accuracy assessment, volley depth, first serve and second serve scoring.

We will cover mobility assessment in a separate post.
